MARGHERITA MESSINA
BASc Arts & Sciences, UCL
Margherita Messina is a UCL Arts and Sciences (BASc) graduate interested in the process of growth through action with things, analysing practice as the mutual transformation of the human agent and material environment. She likes observing how multiple diseased personhoods are constituted by and through movements within heterogeneous entanglements of medical techniques and technological interventions, how these practices generate various knowledges of the body and justifications for their own way of differentiating the healthy from the ill. Rather than a coherent body that precedes the knowledge generated, she is interested in exploring how practices come to know different bodies and the coordination strategies reassembling these multiple versions of reality.
