Isabelle is a freelance writer, researcher and editor. With an MA in Material and Visual Culture (UCL, 2020) and a BA in History of Art (UCL, 2018) her research focuses on performance, dance, gesture and cinema. Considering interpersonal/multimedia modes of attention and feeling in the work of Pina Bausch and others, Isabelle advances alternative conceptual frameworks/embodied methodologies of knowledge (co)production and transmission. She is co-editor of the forthcoming dance journal Motor, a print publication that provides accessible, critical writing from a diverse body of contributors who practice, theorise, programme or simply enjoy dance.
