Ezgi Sonmez is an artist, storyteller, and qualitative researcher from Turkey. Ezgi’s passion in life is diving into the intersectionality of art, science, and humanities to collect ethnographic findings on the authentic ways of living with the awareness of death. Can we ever transmute the nothingness of the things we cannot know into a black canvas of self authorship? In the form of documentary filmmaking and performative practices, she will keep exploring the depths of people’s stories, as well as her-story, to express what makes us human - as the living one and the dying one at the same time.
