This October, Guarani and Kaiowá community members are coming to the UK to co-host Sounding Planetary Futures: a multimodal events series that brings together indigenous thinkers, interdisciplinary researchers, creative practitioners, innovation industries and museum curators in a global conversation on planetary futures.

Through a dynamic programme of multimedia performances, panel discussions, workshops and immersive sound installations, these events will showcase the work we have developed collaboratively, inviting London's diverse community of researchers, creatives and industry professionals to explore how Guarani and Kaiowá perspectives can help rethink collective planetary futures.

Sounding Planetary Futures is coordinated by UCL MAL in collaboration with the Centre for the Anthropology of Sustainability (CAoS), the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) and Amoenus, together with Guarani and Kaiowá communities from Brazil.
